Course Summary
The course includes Includes 3 days on general Nutrition Principles, and 2 days on Nutrition & Health in the Community. It is designed to provide a detailed knowledge of the practical applications of diet and healthy eating.
Entry Requirements
All candidates must hold the RIPH Certificate in Nutrition and Health or have experience in a relevant subject.

Course structure and content
Section 1 - Nutrition Principles
Section 2 - Nutrition and Health in the Community
Provides detailed information on nutrition in infants, children, adolescents, pregnancy and older people
Section 3
Following the course, two assignments must be completed as part of the qualification - one assignment based on each of the two sections of the course listed above. There are also two exams to be taken at a later date to suit all participants.

Venue
The Diploma is generally run as an open course in Skipton but can be provided in house at your own school or premises, if required. It works well if two or three local authorities join together to form a viable, cost effective course.
