Primary School System
Our system, designed specifically for Primary Schools is a card-less solution. Utilising Touch Screen technology, the entire system can be controlled from the terminal. As the Touch Screen is a PC in its own right the software sits on the terminal, all operations can be carried out directly at the terminal.
The user-friendly software allows for fast throughput of pupils at the point of sale. Simply select the class and the photos of all the students in that class are shown on screen, touch the corresponding photo and that students account is brought up on screen. Products can then be sold to that account, to complete the transaction press finish and the screen returns to the class that was selected.
Secondary School System
The system designed for Secondary Schools brings together today’s technology with the finest cashless software available.
“Thin Client” Touch Screen terminals deliver superior performance as all the data processing is dealt with at the server, thereby increasing speed of operation and providing greater security as no information is stored on the terminals.
Routine administration such as crediting funds to an account, Issuing a temporary card, setting up spending limits and applying restrictions are dealt with from one screen with each operation taking only seconds. The software has been written for ease of use and operation by individuals with a minimum of computing skills.
Both systems offer many features that can be utilised to encourage the take up of a healthier diet. Healthy eating points can be put against promotional food groups, the system can produce reports showing points accumulated by an individual, by class or by year, giving scope to devise promotional activities. Products can be restricted giving parents an element of control over there child’s diet.
Biometric System
This system replaces the need for swipe cards by using a scanner which can recognise a pupil’s thumbprint.
Pupils create virtual accounts by paying cash into one terminal and will then ‘pay’ for their lunch with the money being deducted by similar scanners in the dining hall.
