Healthy Eating in Schools - Making it Happen

AIMS
The prime objective of this conference is to share the knowledge and expertise that already exists, with a view to helping you put Healthy Eating on the menu in your school.
CONTENT
By attending this conference you can learn from those who have already implemented successful healthy eating initiatives, with several interesting case studies from both primary and secondary schools. Examples include breakfast clubs, healthy lunch boxes, innovative catering ideas, healthy eating on the curriculum and the whole school approach.
Contributions from the School Food Trust and the Year of Food and Farming along with presentations on local sourcing and the impact of nutrition on school catering show that good food and healthy eating should be fundamental to school life.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Any school that is not yet confident of meeting the government guidelines on Healthy Eating would be strongly advised to send one or more representatives to our forthcoming conference. The programme will be of interest to:
